LOS ANGELES — A private investigator is making public what he says is the towing report for D4vd’s impounded Tesla, in which the remains of 15-year-old Celeste Rivas were later found dismembered and decomposing earlier this month.

P.I. Steve Fischer on Thursday tweeted out photos of the Tesla Model X and the complaint reporting it abandoned, along with the vehicle impound report, which came after he said the car had seemingly “been left in the same spot for an extended period.”

According to Fischer, “the initial complaint was called in on Aug 26, then an officer first inspected and cited the car on Aug 27.” Per the documents he tracked down, “the caller only noted a large dent in the rear, no mention of odor,” the investigator said.

The Tesla was then ticketed again on Sept. 3, two days before it was ultimately towed and impounded.

“The tow report states nothing of value was seen inside,” Fischer said. “The report also notes that there were no wants on the vehicle, meaning it was not reported stolen at the time.”

D4vd, whose legal name is David Anthony Burke, has made headlines for much of September since Rivas’ body was found inside a plastic bag in the trunk of the car, as it was sitting in a Los Angeles tow yard. Her body was returned to her family earlier this week.

Rivas was just 13 when she disappeared in April 2024, from her family’s home in Lake Elsinore, Calif., about 75 miles southeast of the site where the car was found abandoned.

Rivas’ mother told TMZ that the teen had a boyfriend named David. Both Rivas and D4vd, 20, reportedly had matching “Shhh…” tattoos on their right index fingers. A since- leaked 2023 song that has been linked to D4vd is also titled “Celeste.”

In the hours after Rivas’ identity was confirmed last week, L.A. authorities searched a home being rented by D4vd’s manager, where the Queens-born musician had been staying. A computer was seized at the time.

D4vd’s remaining U.S. and European tour dates, the latter of which were supposed to run until November, have since been canceled.
