Sienna Miller has opened up about her "bohemian" approach to breastfeeding while slamming those who have an issue with her "whipping" out her "boob" whenever her baby's hungry.

The 44-year-old actress is a mother of three, having welcomed a boy with fiancé Old Green in May, and told Harper's Bazaar magazine that she has no problem stripping off if he needs food - regardless of where she's with, or who she's with.

Sienna said: "When you have a baby and you're breastfeeding a baby which I still am, hence the brain not here.

"Well, the respect for your body for your body, in my case, became enormous.

"And then if your body is feeding your baby and people have an issue with your boob, it bothers me because it's a you issue. I'm feeding my child.

"If you need to feed your baby, feed your baby, and everybody else has to grow a pair and deal with it, it's a breast."

Sienna added that "everyone's seen them at this point" because she's "a bit bohemian".

She continued: "And if the baby's hungry and I'm at dinner, yes I'm going to whip my boob out and feed the baby and everyone's cool with it.

"So free the nipple!"

A clip of the Sienna interview was shared on Instagram by Harper's Bazaar, with people quickly taking to the comments section to praise the Factory Girl star for her outlook.

One wrote: "I couldn't agree more! I feel so strongly about this! If breastfeeding makes someone uncomfortable then they can go sit alone in the bathroom not the mother feeding their child."

Another added: "Yes to this! No mother should have to think twice about breastfeeding in public."

As a third commented: "To anyone in this comment section who is triggered by breastfeeding - telling women to cover up etc. it's very much a you problem, and only you. And it's you who has work to do on that.

"NOT any woman trying to feed her baby. Which, you know, is what has kept the human race surviving since the dawn of time."

Sienna is also mother to 14-year-old daughter Marlowe with ex-partner Tom Sturridge and another daughter with Oli, who was born in January 2024.

She hasn't revealed the names of her middle child, or her latest arrival.
