"Follow your heart" is the cliche that beats at the center of so many inspirational messages -- movies, love songs, sacred texts and beyond -- yet it never seems to get old. Why so impervious to overuse? We long to be reminded that beneath the systems of control we abide by lies a subtle, animating field of love and mystery. May our choices rise from that field.
