Vueroid's latest dashcam, the S1 4K Infinite (2-channel), is an industry leader, setting a new standard as the first offering AI-powered license plate recognition. Once an incident occurs, there's nothing better than having dashcam footage. As Vueroid points out in its press release, the S1 dash cam serves as insurance, delivering reliable video recordings when they're needed most.

It's near-impossible to say which dashcam has the clearest, sharpest image, but this one has to be near the top. With its Sony Starvis 2 sensor, the dashcam delivers stunning 4K resolution at 60 frames per second from the front camera, which has a 151-degree wide-angle field of view. The front camera has a 2.3-inch LCD. The rear camera's resolution is 2.5K at 30 fps with a 160-degree field of view. A microSD memory card (with a maximum capacity of 512GB) stores the recordings.

Installation is standard and shouldn't take long with the included hardware kit. If you're not up to the task, a professional installer shouldn't be hard to find. A quick way to get it going is with the included cigarette lighter adapter. Once it's powered up, using it is simple. The buttons on the camera are easy to access and user-friendly for power and mode changes.

Vueroid's proprietary technology enables extensive fine-tuning and customization, with 18 parameters including brightness, sharpness and noise reduction. It has a night-vision mode and Wi-Fi for file transfer.

With the Vueroid Hub app, AI-powered deep learning algorithms restore any unclear video with a few simple taps. License plates captured in motion are often blurred and difficult to definitively read. In just a few steps with the Vueroid Hub app, you select the license plate in question and tell the app to enhance and restore it. It's that easy.

The S1 4K Infinite dashcam ($349.99) is loaded with features to support its unparalleled video quality, including MP4 files that play with ease. A circular polarizing filter is included, which reduces reflections and glare off the windshield for clearer images.

The parking mode with motion detection works in low-power mode to save battery life and includes GPS geofencing to turn it off and save power. When the vehicle is parked safely in a garage, why not save power, for example. The vehicle battery protection mode powers off the dashcam to protect the battery.

Vueroid has an S1 4K Infinite in a 3-channel setup (adding an interior camera) for $399.99, and an S1 4K Infinite 1-channel with the front camera only for $279.99.

The Cyber Acoustics Wireless Headset HS-1500BT II was a victim this year of getting buried in my office. It's no longer hot off the press but well worth talking about.

It's a premium wireless (Bluetooth) headset with an adjustable padded headband and ultra-soft bio-leatherette earpads, which add comfort for all-day use. There are touch controls for the essentials: volume, mute and answering calls. A boom mic can be worn and used from either side.

Both office and remote work environments have distractions that create background noise. The HS-1500BT II eliminates almost all of it with dual noise cancellation. With ANC, background noise is removed, and AI noise cancellation eliminates distractions so only your voice comes through to those you are speaking with.

Each ear has a 40mm driver for perfect clarity. With its dual connection features, the headset can seamlessly switch between devices. The internal battery provides up to 20 hours of Bluetooth battery life, and the headset can be used while charging via USB-C. A storage pouch is included.
